We’re excited to announce that the Peckham Weekender is back for 2025 – bigger and better with more SE15 restaurants, bars and cafes involved.
For one weekend only, from 4th – 6th July, 17 of our local neighbours will be running a £10 special on their menus, with £1 from each special donated to Peckham Pantry: a membership community food club that supports low income families. This is our chance to give back a little bit to the community – and serve up some delicious dishes!
– Mr Bao – brown crab rarebit croquette topped with citrus, daikon and white crab salad sriracha mayo and pickled ginger
– Begging Bowl – Sweet and sour chicken wings with crispy shallots, Thai basil and rice powder
– Messy Mary – jerk chicken thighs, tzatziki, lettuce, red onion and chilli salad, rye lane hot sauce and signature chips all wrapped in a hand stretched pitta
– Forza Wine – a cauliflower frittini plate (a small portion of our house classic cauliflower fritti) plus a glass of house wine
– Hausu – Scallop and prawn toast with a glass of Entero, Old Vine Macabeo
– Made of Dough – Margaritas and magheritas
– Jurkish – Pulled lamb double, Thai honey and cacik (mint yoghurt)
– White Men Can’t Jerk – Jerk chicken bun with smoked jerk chicken, coleslaw, salad leaves, jerk sauce and jerk spiced mayo.
– Rye Lane Bagels – Lamb shoulder melt with tender pulled lamb, lightly spiced with salt, pepper and chilli, nestled in a toasted bagel
– Ganapati – Seafood pickle served with pathiri (fine rice flour pancakes)
– Taca Taco – Shrimp & Avo Nachos – grilled devilled shrimp, tortilla chips, black beans, grilled Monterey Jack cheese, Mexican tartar, arbol salsa, pico de gallo & avocado slices
– Artusi – Olive oil cake with chantilly and grilled peaches
– Gordos Pizzeria – a 9inch Sicilian square pizza, with Mozz, beef bolognese, banana peppers and a heavy hand of pecorino romano
