We’ve been talking to their team for a while, and enjoying their food ever since they opened in Peckham, so we’re excited to announce that our next collaboration is with Janda Malaysian Diner – literally across the road from Mr Bao. Think modern Malaysian cooking, inspired by traditional village dishes but reimagined.
We’re running an ingredients swap, with their classic flavours featuring on our menu and our Taiwanese fried chicken joining their nasi goreng.
From 10th September at Mr Bao:
Beef rendang bao with yuzu and parmesan dressed salad and crispy shallots
Grilled pineapple and onion skewer, with pomegranate ponzu and cucumber carrot jelatah – a take on the classic Malaysian pickle
At Janda:
TFC (Taiwanese fried chicken) nasi goreng
